Tanzania v/s West Harrow Cricket Club

Tanzania played its third match of the UK tour against West Harrow Cricket Club and the confidence was very high in the Tanzanian camp.

Tanzania were put in the field and once again Khalil Rehemtullah and Hamisi Abdallah by bowling the first 10 overs economically, that put the lid on the scoring rate to allow Benson Mwita coming the second spell to pick up three wickets from the 11^th over.

The rest of the damage was done by the young Tanzanian off spinner by picking up another 3 wickets to put the batting side in shambles.

Tanzania bowled out the West Harrow Cricket Club for 110 in the 38^th over in a 40 overs game.

In reply to the West Harrow Cricket Club, the Tanzanian opening pair of Abhik Patwa and Issa Kikasi solidly posted a 79 run opening partnership when Abhik was  bowled in the 14^th over.

Benson Mwita and Athumani Kakonzi saw the Tanzanians home in the 25^th over.

Tanzanian recorded its first victory of the tour, and are playing their next match on the 24^th August 2008 against Watford Town Cricket Club.
