Fatuma Omari and Mwanaidi Ibrahim take the fight back to Tanzania

The Ugandan women's team national team faced the Tanzania women's team at Anadil Burhani ground. Uganda's team captain won the toss and elected to bat first; and set a target of 94 runs for the Tanzanian's to win.

In reply, Tanzanians lost their key player Monica Pascal early on. But later on Kurwa Mayowi and
Khadija Nasibu controlled the situation.

Tanzania's position at one stage was 62 for 5, Fatuma Omari and Mwanaidi Ibrahim fought back in a very professional manner and took the fight towards the Tanzanian's side.

The woman of the match was from Tanzania team , Khadija Nasibu who had excellent figures in batting and bowling. She scored quick 32 runs off 55 balls and emerged getting 2 wickets.
