Khalil Rehemtulla bowled out Hamu Bagenda for a duck in the first over. Khalil Rehemtulla injured his shoulder after his first two spells by giving away 5 runs and taking 1 wicket and was unable to continue. Hatrick from Skipper Kassim Nassoro(13 runs in 2 overs) and another 3 wickets from Zamoyoni Jebeneke(28 runs in 3 overs) restricted the Ugandan batters to a score of 155/9 in their allotted 20 over’s.

In chasing the score the Tanzania top order batsmen Abhik Patwa(47) and Jitin Pratab singh(14) batted positively to give their a good opening start without giving away their wickets in this second game with   Ugandan to their opening bowler opening bowler Muhammed Irfan.  Tanzanian number 4 batsman Muhammed Khan(40) controlled the whole game, giving good stand to Abhik Patwa taking their team score to 103 when Abhik was caught out in the 13th over. Tanzania needed 53 runs in 7 overs.
