Match no 2. Tanzania verses Uganda.

Tanzania lost the toss and were sent to field first. Roger Mukasa(41) and Hamu Bagenda(44) opened the ugandan innings aggressively and took full advantage of Salum Jumbe’s bad spell taking 56 runs of his 3 overs.  Riziki Kiseto, Harsh Ramaiya, Khalil rehemtulla, Kassim Nassoro and Jitin Pratab singh bowled well to cover up Salum Jumbe’s bad spell and to bring down Uganda’s run rate and taking their key players wickets restricting them to a score of 181 runs in their 20 allotted overs.

In chasing the score of 181 runs set by the Ugandan team, the Tanzanian key batters, Abhik Patwa(0) Jitin Pratab singh(15), Khalil Rehemtulla(8), Zamoyoni Jebeneke (0)Salum Jumbe(2) could not materialise on the chasable score on batting paradise wicket by giving away lavishly their wickets to the ugandan opening leg spinner bowler Muhammed Irfan who took 3 early wickets for 9runs in his 4 over spell taking tanzanian batters on the back foot. Tanzanian batsmen, Muhammed Khan (33) kassim Nassoro(23) and Raahil Amarshi(24) tried hard to chase the score but ended to a score of 117 runs in their allotted 20 overs, hence lossing against Uganda in their seccond game of the event.
